Profile

Veronica Robertson, a junior paralegal with FH+H, offers full litigation support in the areas of civil litigation, corporate and business law, employment law, government contracts, real estate law, and intellectual property law. Ms. Robertson’s responsibilities include the editing, formatting, and filing of pleadings and motions, background legal research, management of attorneys’ schedules, as well as organization and management of dates and deadlines respective to each case.

Prior to joining FH+H, Ms. Robertson worked as a paralegal at Potkin, Williamowky & Pillay, PLLC, a Washington D.C. real estate law firm. Ms. Robertson handled many corporate and business formations and filings, as well as the majority of the firm’s condominium conversation matters, gathering data as well as drafting and filing conversion applications with the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia governments. She also interned for the Federal Judicial Center, where she assisted the Judicial & Legal Team in planning and analyzing seminars, conferences, and webcasts educating federal and state judges, and judiciary staff on several topics pertaining to courtroom best practices. Ms. Robertson also interned abroad for the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe in Belgium, Brussels. There, she created multimedia campaigns to educate laypersons about the Rule of Law, as well as conducted research regarding the ever-increasing applications of artificial intelligence within the legal profession.

In addition to her experience at law firms and legal organizations, Ms. Robertson has worked in the public sector, having interned for the U.S. Senator for New Jersey, Cory Booker. In this position, she learned the ins and outs of government contracting and conducted policy research regarding healthcare, women’s issues, and taxes.

Ms. Robertson graduated summa cum laude from American University in 3.5 years with degrees in Law & Society and Political Science. During her undergraduate program, she was a member of Phi Alpha Delta, Law Fraternity, International, the largest professional law fraternity in the world. In the future, Ms. Robertson plans to attend law school.

In her free time, Ms. Robertson is a competitive powerlifter and avid plant-mom. She enjoys spending time with her two cats, Bernie and Lex and enjoys reading as many historical fiction and political books as she can find.
