FH+H Assists Client With Dual Set-Aside Certification

FH+H Senior Associate Marlena Ewald worked with a client to expand its contracting capability by assisting with its certification as a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) and an Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB).

The WOSB and EDWOSB programs allow women owned businesses that meet specific qualifications to compete for government contracts that are set-aside for certain industries where women are underrepresented.  The FH+H team was able to evaluate the client’s current status and provide assistance in navigating the government contract realm.

Our attorneys help clients evaluate various business formations to best prepare clients to pursue government contracts as 8(a), woman-owned, HUBZone, and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses.
