Selma Al Taii



As a paralegal at FH+H, Selma Al Taii is responsible for providing full litigation support in the areas of civil litigation, criminal law, corporate and business law, employment law, government contracts, real estate law, intellectual property, and international trade and transactions.

Prior to joining our firm, Ms. Al Taii gained experience at a variety of international, U.S.-based law firms. As a legal assistant at Whiteford, Taylor & Preston, Ms. Al Taii worked within the firm’s Administrative Law & Regulatory Litigation and White-Collar Criminal Defense & Investigations practice groups. She assisted on cases related to business litigation and crisis management, and she helped partners provide strategic advice and advocacy to a range of corporate, nonprofit, and government entities and their leadership. She also helped a partner during a pro bono appeal of a capital case in which the Delaware Supreme Court unanimously reversed the client’s convictions and death sentence based on judicial error and prosecutorial misconduct.

Then at Kramon & Graham, Ms. Al Taii helped attorneys with matters involving intellectual property, insurance coverage, professional liability, personal injury defense, and business owner disputes. She also assisted a partner who handled injury and property claims brought by individuals or entities against railroad companies, as well as claims brought by railroad employees under the Federal Employers’ Liability Act. Ms. Al Taii also has experience assisting in divorce, child custody, and prenuptial agreement matters from her work at Brown, Goldstein & Levy.

Ms. Al Taii earned her associate degree in Paralegal Studies from an American Bar Association-approved program at Northern Virginia Community College. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Government and Public Policy at the University of Baltimore.

As an Arab-American, Ms. Al Taii is fluent in all Arabic dialects. She is passionate about the legal field and enjoys legal research as well as reading judicial opinions on trending cases. She spends her time volunteering for various political campaigns, listening to Arabic music, traveling, and cooking authentic Middle Eastern food.
