Samuel “Sam” Adelmann

Senior Associate


Samuel “Sam” Adelmann is a Senior Associate at FH+H and part of our Litigation + Investigations, Employment Law, and Corporate + Business Transactions teams. Mr. Adelmann has extensive experience litigating throughout the courts of Northern Virginia with issues involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, violation of trade secrets, tortious interference with business, false advertising, and employment matters, among others.

Prior to joining FH+H, Mr. Adelmann developed a breadth of litigation experience including commercial litigation, personal injury, and criminal defense working with a small law firm in Arlington County.

Mr. Adelmann graduated from the Antonin Scalia Law School (formerly George Mason University School of Law) in 2011, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Law, Economics and Policy. Before attending law school, Mr. Adelmann received his Bachelor of Science as a dual major in Finance and Accounting from the University of Colorado Denver, where he graduated magna cum laude.

  • Brought suit on behalf of a subcontractor against their prime contractor for non-payment and settled for full amount in controversy
  • Successfully defended a small business owner in an action brought by his former employer for various business torts, including breach of fiduciary duty and stealing trade secrets
  • Represented a commercial bakery in a FLSA suit brought by a former employee and successfully settled the matter
  • Represented a condominium association in a lawsuit against their former management company for misappropriating association funds
