Rachel Leahey is an Associate with FH+H. Ms. Leahey represents, advises, and counsels companies in government contracting matters.
Ms. Leahey is an honors graduate of Indiana University Maurer School of Law. Ms. Leahey began her legal career with a two-year appointment assisting an Administrative Law Judge through the U.S. Department of Justice Attorney General’s Honors Program. She subsequently held positions as a Staff Attorney with the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, Office of Special Masters, and a Judicial Law Clerk at the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
During law school, Ms. Leahey held internships or law clerkships with the U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Marion County (Indiana) Prosecutor’s Office, U.S. Attorney’s Office for the S.D. of Indiana, and The Honorable William T. Lawrence, U.S. District Court for the S.D. of Indiana. Ms. Leahey was on the editorial staff of the Indiana Law Journal, a member of the Sherman Minton Moot Court Board, and recognized for meeting the recommended goal of 60 hours of pro bono work during law school.
Prior to law school, Ms. Leahey worked as a litigation paralegal for a large international law firm and a boutique patent law firm. Ms. Leahey holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Boston University.
