Joseph E. Fluet founded FH+H as a leading attorney who routinely handled highly complex and sensitive legal and financial matters both nationally and internationally. In FH+H's infancy, he specialized exclusively in high-profile and sensitive affairs that required comprehensive coordination of legal, media, political, and consulting efforts. Mr. Fluet then expanded his practice to serve as lead attorney on a wide variety of matters, including complex international mergers and acquisitions, government contract negotiations, internal financial investigations, high profile criminal defense cases, complex civil litigation, and corporate formation overseas.

At FH+H, his clients have ranged from technology and professional services firms to the nation’s largest aerospace, defense, and intelligence contractors. He has routinely advised clients in all aspects of business and financial operations both domestically and abroad. Mr. Fluet has also represented local small business and individuals, and has sat on several corporate boards. Earlier in his career, he served as a judicial law clerk to the Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, and as an Honors Attorney for the United States Department of Labor.

Mr. Fluet had a distinguished career as a military commander and decorated combat veteran. His career includes service in both active and reserve forces, spanning 20 years in airborne, air assault, and special operations units.
