FH+H Overcomes Homeowners Association's Obstructions in Home Addition Plans

FH+H attorney Kevin Byrnes successfully represented a client in an ongoing dispute with a Homeowners Association (HOA), resulting in the client’s home addition plans being approved and construction resuming.

For nearly two years, our client was in dispute with the HOA over home addition plans. Initially, the client’s plans were rejected on ambiguous grounds; then, after the application was eventually approved, the HOA forced construction to stop after neighbors complained about the plans.

Once the homeowner hired FH+H attorneys, our team negotiated with the HOA and finalized a slightly modified version of the home addition plans, allowing our client to resume construction.

FH+H’s Litigation + Investigations practice group is well-suited to handle all types of real estate disputes, including HOA conflicts like the above.
