Emily Spence



Emily Spence is an Associate at FH+H. Ms. Spence represents, advises, and counsels clients in a wide variety of matters, including government contracting, corporate transactions, internal investigations, trust and estate, and employment matters.

Ms. Spence has worked for the Department of Justice and at the Virginia Department of Transportation. Ms. Spence’s prior experience also includes being on several successful government contracting bid presentation teams and working with local small businesses to optimize business operations.

Ms. Spence received her Juris Doctor from Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University in 2018. While at Scalia Law, she was a member of the George Mason Law Review and served as Production Editor in the 2017-18 school year. Ms. Spence also served as a member of George Mason Moot Court Board, winning “Best Brief” at Howard University’s 2018 Bryant Moore Moot Court Competition. Ms. Spence also holds a Bachelor of Arts from George Mason University, where she graduated magna cum laude.
